The RERC-ACT is dedicated to the dissemination—or distribution—of accurate information to all people interested in the work of the RERC-ACT, cognitive disability, cognitive technology, or assistive technology. These people include AT manufacturers, physicians, clinicians, individuals with cognitive disabilities, their family members and/or caregivers.
The most important dissemination tool is the RERC-ACT website, which has links to all partner websites, and is W3C accessible to persons with cognitive disabilities. RERC-ACT partners present information at conferences, through journal articles and scholarly publications, while also engaging in dialogue through the Technology Forum.
The RERC-ACT also publishes a general brochure, an informational flyer,
individual project brochures, and a Press Kit that includes a fact sheet
entitled “Tips on Writing about Disabilities.”
